Production version: this form posts to a small backend endpoint that creates a Stripe Checkout session after retailer confirmation. If Stripe keys are not configured yet, the email fallback is still available.

Backend design

Small, controlled Stripe integration.

Recommended implementation: a lightweight endpoint receives basket SKUs and customer details, validates prices server-side, confirms stock/special-order status, then creates a Stripe Checkout Session. Webhooks mark orders paid without running a full Shopify-style stack.

Retailer safeguards

Payment is not automatic from the catalogue. HarkHouse can confirm stock, delivery, substitutions and special-order terms before taking payment.
